In the last 50 years, industrial parks have increasingly evolved into engines of innovation and a tool for both economic and urban development. This research thrust aims to advance knowledge of the inter-dependence between cities and industrial parks, and develop new solutions for the urban-industrial eco-system. It includes research topics relating to land intensification and optimization, land creation, land recycling, mobility and logistics, mixed use and liveability.
