Increasing focus on sustainability highlights the importance of placekeeping, the long-term management of places for equitable, sustainable outcomes. A key factor in successful placekeeping is the establishment of robust partnerships across public, private, and third sectors. Despite its importance, knowledge gaps remain in understanding about the dynamics of multi-stakeholder collaboration, the process of partnership formation among different stakeholders, and the factors that facilitate or hinder this collaboration. This project aims to investigate these aspects of placekeeping, particularly examining the mechanisms and factors driving effective multi-stakeholder collaboration in the context of placekeeping of Rail Corridor in Singapore.
