Sara graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours, Highest Distinction) in Geography. Her research interests cover a broad range of topics pertaining to human geography, including urban planning and cities, tourism studies, and human-nature relations. For her final year thesis, she investigated Tiong Bahru as an architourism (architectural tourism) destination and proposed a novel framework to approach architourism. Outside of work, she enjoys good food, the arts, animals and being active.
