Salihin’s background is in the field of political science. His research interests include political representation, ethnic and religious minorities, social inequalities, and postcolonial societies. He wrote his masters dissertation examining the Singapore government’s efforts in ensuring the political representation of the Malay-Muslim community in Singapore via the framework of multiculturalism. At the Centre, he is attached to the ‘Future Digital Economies and Digital Societies’ project.

In his free time, Salihin enjoys playing video games, reading e-books, catching up on the latest news, and sleeping – though not all at once.
