Basil’s background is in Anthropology and Sociology and at the Centre, he is a part of the “Future Digital Economy and Digital Societies” program team. His research interest lies in the intersection of migration, social inclusion and digital technologies, with a focus on how the digital affects the various social elements in multiple communities.
Basil is also known for his unhealthy obsession with bad puns, coffee and his very biased belief that Melbourne is home to the best coffee in the world.
