Biography

Khant graduated from Singapore Management University with a double major in Smart-City Management Technology and Public Policy. With over four years of experience, Khant has collaborated with various institutions, including government agencies, research think-tanks, and start-ups, across multiple countries such as Myanmar, Hong Kong, Singapore, and France. His research interests are centered around urban science, geospatial technology, and public policy. He has a particular interest in the challenges and opportunities presented by Southeast Asian urbanism. Khant is keen on leveraging data science and analytics to understand the dynamics of cities, communities, and natural environments in Southeast Asian cities and beyond.

He is supporting Sam and team on the "Leveraging Shared Experience of Urban Heat and Bridging Spatial-Temporal Dissonance: Towards a Climate Resilient Citizenry in Singapore" project and Urban Psychology Lab.
