Darren Ho Di Xiang is currently attached to the ‘AI in Healthcare’ project under the Lee Li Ming Programme in Ageing Urbanism. He holds a BSc in Architecture and Sustainable Design from SUTD. His final year Capstone project involved in-depth analysis and placemaking proposals of underutilized spaces within the Tampines district, with the aim of encouraging its residents to inculcate healthy lifestyle habits. He is also broadly interested in how participatory design can be used to create better design solutions with the inclusion of communities as key stakeholders, as well as how the planning of refugee camps can be better optimized to create a safer, cleaner and culturally sensitive environment for its inhabitants.
