Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore
Devesh’s background is in engineering and philosophy, and he works with the “Future Digital Economies & Societies” team at the Centre. He is interested broadly in the moral and political questions that emerge from the interactions between technology and society, and hopes that his research can help with making robust the moral discourse surrounding technology, and aiming technological innovation towards better social outcomes. He hopes eventually to read a PhD in technology studies or technology policy.
For fun, Devesh loves to make music (he’s a classically trained violinist and vocalist), read (he’s part of an unhealthy amount of book clubs) and build gadgets (the more impractical and absurd, the better).
