Cristina is an urban researcher with a strong interest in applied research. Before LKYCIC, Cristina worked as an urban planner with the City of Toronto in Canada, supporting the development application process and analyzing the pandemic’s impact across neighbourhoods and land uses. Cristina has also collaborated with non-profit and community-based organizations in Toronto and Singapore to investigate the lived experiences of migrant and immigrant communities.
Her research interests are in the areas of belonging and inclusion in cities, sustainable development, placemaking, and participatory methods.
She is supporting Belinda and team on the "Cities Innovation & Transformation Assessment" project.
