In the light of the pressing need globally for affordable housing, Asia Society Southern California (ASSC) and the US-Asia real Estate Initiative (USAREI) in collaboration with the USC Lusk Centre of Real Estate, invited Prof Cheong Koon Hean to share Singapore’s experience in developing affordable public housing. This was compared with the approach taken by the City of Los Angeles to ameliorate housing insecurity.
