Synopsis
At RTI International (RTI), we see an innovation park as a strategically-planned, purpose-built environment where faculty, staff, and students can work, live, and innovate. In 2016, RTI and Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU) partnered in developing the Middle East’s premier health innovation hub by converging IAU’s research and clinical excellence with the country’s strategic Vision 2030 and growing the BioPharma industry presence in the region. The partnership identified eight essential ingredients for a sustainable health innovation ecosystem and is currently implementing strategic programs to organically grow the IAU Medical City into leading health innovations hub in the GCC.
